Detailed installation instructions will be sent to you when you register. This is an overview of the process.

Dynamics Telephony CRM solution

We will provide a Managed Solution for installing entities to CRM. Dynamics Telephony only adds fields to the phonecall entity in dynamics 365. In addition, some entities are installed in your CRM by Dynamics Telephony for its own use. They are stand-alone entities that can be uninstalled without affecting your own data. Minimum CRM Requirements

  • Dynamics 365 online. On premises: CRM 2015 (8.2) latest or later – yes we have click-to-dial for all releases of CRM

Minimum client requirements:

  • Windows 10 or later
  • .NET 4.6.2 or later
  • VC 2019 32-bit runtimes
  • 4GB RAM, 6GB recommended.
  • 500MB HD
  • Firewall open to port 80 on any subdomain on dynamicstelephony.com
  • Firewall open to port 80 AND 85 on http://dtms.westeurope.cloudapp.azure.com. Please test with http://dtms.westeurope.cloudapp.azure.com:85/test.aspx

What you will need:

  • Phone / CTI parameters (e.g. for SIP, the SIP server,  username and password)
  • URL to your CRM instance
  • Your Dynamics CRM userID and password
  • Service User credentials to facilitate entity install – see here
  • Once you have the above, the install takes about 10 minutes.

Install Steps

  1. Go to the URL provided when you register. Click install on the landing page.
  2. Dynamics is a Click-Once install, and will install.
  3. You will be prompted for the CRM URL
  4. ONLY for the first user installed on your site – The first time you run Dynamics Telephony, you provide Service User credentials, and Dynamics Telephony will install the entities it needs on your CRM (you can easily uninstall these later if you need to)
  5. Fill in your CTI or SIP information on DT Menu > Settings : Provider Account and Provider Configuration
